Nike Savvas

Nike Savvas and UAP collaborated on the creation of Rapture, a canopy of semi-transparent coloured bands suspended in the naturally-lit atrium of Postal Place in Murray Street Mall, Perth. 

The artwork experience changes continuously throughout the day as sunlight permeates the glass ceiling and through the multi-coloured strands, bathing the room below in a sea of varied and rapturous hues.

Working alongside Savvas, UAP helped develop, fabricate and install this physically immersive and optically dazzling installation of thousands of opaque coloured acrylic strands floating in space above the public dining hall of the Murray Street Mall.
