Peddle Thorp

Peddle Thorp and James Cubitt Architects engaged UAP to construct and install a decorative roof treatment for the Queensland University of Technology Library upgrade. Peddle Thorp and James Cubitt Architects developed a concept using the covers of old library books to adorn the ceiling. 

UAP built and installed the coloured canopy of book covers set within a mirror frame.
The result is an infinite covering of multi coloured upturned books drawn from the university collection.
