San Francisco artist Ned Kahn is renowned for his large-scale sculptures which incorporate natural elements such as water, fog, light and wind to animate his works. UAP collaborated with Ned to fabricate and install Feather Arbour, a sculpture comprised of 9 columns with kinetic spring steel feather elements. 

Standing 6 metres tall, the kinetic steel feathers create a play between light and shadow and move organically in response to the changing and invisible currents of air. 

Feather Arbour functions as a landmark, where people can observe and interact with natural processes. This work represents the successful ongoing relationship between Ned Kahn and UAP to develop, fabricate and install his creations.
