#Dispersed

Dispersed is an installation of giant letters made from charred laminated wood and aluminium, with one letter D pitted with .303 inch calibre bullets. A text work, it provides a physical inscription of its theme: the way in which dispossession of Aboriginal people was achieved by violent and frequently fatal means, invariably papered over by the euphemistic terms used in official reports to government.

UAP is proud to have funded the first edition of this work.

Fiona Foley is represented by Andrew Baker Art Dealer.
