RICH & MIYU

RICH&MIYU is a Tokyo-based studio founded in 2019 by Japanese artist Miyu Burns and British artist Richard Burns, who work in the fields of motion graphics, interactive design, and art research. Exploring the relationship between the physical and the non-physical and how it manifests as is another core of their work. They focus on hard-to-perceive visions such as algorithms, laws of nature and social constructs, in a process that involves scanning and tracking physical objects, experimenting with their form, movement and deconstructive processes.
